Moto Guzzi V7 Stone Ten
This new look for the king of motorbikes is a homage to the tenth anniversary of Moto Guzzi’s The Clan, the official community of owners and fans of Mandello machines.
This special livery is based on the logo of The Clan. Featuring a black-and-white-checkered strip with a red border along the top of the fuel tank. Red details such as the shock absorbers and seat stitching add a touch of aggression, which is followed through onto the unmistakable eagle on the sides of the fuel tank and the words Moto Guzzi on the wheel rim channels.
Finally, In true Guzzi fashion a special edition would not be complete without the unique emblem on the handlebar clamp.
Features include bar end mirrors which have the effect of elongating the Stone Ten’s profile, making it appear even more dynamic than ever, along with a solid black anodised aluminium fuel tank cap. Other noteworthy touches include the Moto Guzzi 850 twin engine with head covers painted in an elegant graphite grey and throttle body guards in black anodised aluminium
The Arrow exhaust takes the Moto Guzzi V7 Stone Ten’s performance up a notch, increasing power from 48 to 49 kW (66.5 horsepower) at 6700 rpm and maximum torque improves from 73 to 75 Nm at 4900 rpm. The Ten version’s Arrow exhaust is also available as an optional for all bikes in the Moto Guzzi V7 family.
Compared to the V7 III, the new addition from Mandello is generally more complete in terms of equipment and demonstrates superior maturity, also evident in the aesthetic impact of the larger engine, which stands out for its generously sized exhaust pipes. The view from the rear highlights the larger final drive, wider rear wheel, as well as the more effective pair of Kayaba shock absorbers.
The stylish side panels are new, as is the shorter rear mudguard, elements which, along with the new exhaust system, give the new ‘850’ a revamped and more seductive look.
Many new features have been introduced to improve stability and comfort, while leaving the overall essence of the Moto Guzzi best-seller unaltered.
The frame has been evolved with the addition of steel elements in the headstock area, whereas the new pair of shock absorbers with greater travel and the new, two-tier saddle ensure greater comfort. With this same goal in mind, brand new rider footpeg supports are used.
Moto Guzzi V7 IV Stone has full LED lighting with the headlight that includes a DRL in the shape of the Moto Guzzi Eagle, this is echoed in theinstrument cluster is perfectly in line with the look of a minimalist motorcycle, fully digital on a single, circular dial, a feature continued from the previous model.. The aluminium wheel rims, are a sporty style unique to the Stone, also new; is the wider 150/70 rear tyre.
V7 can be restricted for those riders with an A2 motorcycle license. It also comes fitted with adjustable MGCT traction control (which can also be disabled).
